- T4 & DVR Dashcams GPS is a space based radio positioning system which provides users with highly accurate LST – Location, Speed, and Time data.
- A GPS position may be determined if the position of each satellite and the distance from the satellite to the user is known.
- Four satellites are needed to determine a three dimensional fix. (lat, long, and altitude)
- Optimum GPS antenna placement will provide a clear view of the sky. (360 degrees and the horizon)
- Metal and hard materials will block GPS reception and must be avoided when installing the 4G tracking devices.
- A Cellular SIM data service is used like in a Mobile Phone to transmit the location from the GPS tracking unit to the server for 24/7 viewing in real time on PC/Smartphone/Tablet
